What exactly is DateCloser?

DateCloser is a website for making one personal page at a time. You pick the occasion, write your own message, add photos, and publish. Then you share the link privately with the person it is for. When they reply, we let you know by email or text.

Does the other person need an account?

No. The page is an ordinary web page, so they tap the link and it opens in whatever browser they already use. There is nothing to install and no sign-up.

How do I know when they respond?

We email you, and we can text you as well if you would rather have it on your phone. The message includes their answer and the date and time they picked, so you are not sitting there refreshing the page.

What are the two products?

DateCloser (Romance) is for asking someone out, planning dates and proposals. Celebrations is for birthdays, weddings, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, name days and anniversaries. Every plan includes both.

A card is one publish. Buying a card lets you take one page live and share its link, and that page stays live forever even if you never pay again. Editing or republishing the same page is free. A different page uses another card. Cards do not expire. If you would rather not keep count, the Unlimited plans let you publish as many pages as you like.

Can I use my own photos and words?

Yes. Add photos, your own message, date options and a countdown. The words are yours; our part is making sure it looks finished.

What happens if I cancel a subscription?

Pages you published with a card stay live forever, because you bought those outright. Pages covered by a subscription stay up for a further seven days, and we email you before anything changes so a page never goes dark on someone unexpectedly.

Yes. Pages live on unlisted links that only the people you share with can see, and you can delete any page in one tap. On Unlimited you can also remove all DateCloser branding.

Which languages are supported?

The editor is in English for now, with more languages on the way. Your page itself can be written in any language you like.
